This intervention focused on identifying and preventing child marriages through timely intervention. Field teams responded to alerts received from communities, helplines, and local authorities. Counseling sessions were conducted with children and families to explain the legal and health consequences of child marriage. Coordination with police, Child Marriage Prohibition Officers, and administration ensured effective prevention. Follow-up support was provided to children to ensure continued education and protection.

Child Marriage Free India Campaign Event
The campaign event was conducted in Shahapur and Murbad Block in Thane district covering 450 villages in collaboration with DWCD, ICDS and Police departments with notifications issued by the District Magistrate of Thane. The campaign was organized in Thane district’s 450 villages.
Campaign highlights : We conducted awareness sessions in 450 villages on Child marriage issues, for this campaign we used Chitra Rath (Decorated with Banners on Child marriage issues), We met many government officials during this campaign and gave them briefs about our campaign.
