Adv. Ashok Pawar

Founder President and CEO (LLB, LLM, MSW, MBA)

Ashok Pawar is the Founder and Chief Executive of SEVA, a pioneering NGO working in disaster management and financial literacy since 2008. Under his leadership, the organization has grown from a small team of two to 65 professionals, raising over $170,000 (INR 1 crore) for disaster management efforts.


Ashok holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts (BA), a Law degree, and postgraduate qualifications in Social Work and Human Rights. He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGPDM) from SP Jain Institute, Mumbai.

Coming from a farming family, he has balanced entrepreneurial ventures with a deep commitment to social change, having invested over 6,000 hours in the voluntary sector. Before founding SEVA, he worked with various national and international NGOs in New Delhi.

He serves as a Director on the Board of Mitra Sanghatan and advises on strategies and programs. His work has been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Human Rights Champion Award in 2015 and 2016.

Ashok was also an international fellow at the 5th Asia Pacific Conference on Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights in Beijing, China (2009). His diverse experiences include being a Youth for Develop-ment intern in rural Odisha, a UnLtd India Fellow (2012), and a deleg-ate at the International Youth Conference in Sri Lanka (2014).

In addition to his leadership at SEVA, Ashok is a State Coordinator for Youth for Human Rights India (Maharashtra) since 2016, a resource person for SEBI, IICA, and NCFE, and a consultant for the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation in Thane district.

Program Manager(BA, MSW)

With over a decade of experience in Child Protection, Education, Health, and Migrant Workers’ issues, Mr. Rameshwar Bhale began his career as a field volunteer in 2011. He is skilled in conducting training on the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act 2015, Child Rights, POCSO Act 2012, and awareness sessions on Safe and Unsafe Touch.

He has worked closely with key government entities, including the Government Railway Police, Railway Protection Force, Women and Child Development Department, Labour Department, and the Child Welfare Committee. Since 2017, he has also been responsible for team leadership and management, contributing to the successful implementation of various social programs.

Mrs. Shaila Beldar

Program Manager-Parbhani (BCA, MBA(HR), PhD scholar)

Mrs. Shaila Beldar has extensive experience in Women's Empowerment, with a distinguished career as a Project Coordinator at NIWAS and Swayam Shikahan Sanstha. She brings expertise in project coordination, team management, and leadership. Her role in these organizations involved spearheading initiatives focused on uplifting women, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and the ability to lead impactful programs aimed at creating positive social change.

Communication)

Adv. Sanjivani Jadhav's experience includes serving as the Mumbai Zonal Representative at Sakal Papers Ltd., where she coordinated educational initiatives, organized events, and facilitated special articles for the "Sakal N.I.E. Edition." She has also worked as a “Reporter” at News/Political Photo, covering legal news for Doordarshan, and freelanced for Saptahik Chitralekha, contributing insightful articles on women's empowerment. Currently, she serves as a lawyer handling POCSO victim cases, dedicating her legal expertise to making a positive and lasting impact in the field of justice and child protection.

Project Coordinator (BMM, MSW)

Mr. Vaibhav Gaikwad brings eight years of experience in counseling, Child Protection, and Child Education. He has worked closely with the Railway Department during his tenure with Childline, playing a key role in supporting vulnerable children. Vaibhav also served as a counselor at a de-addiction center, helping to transform the lives of children by guiding them toward a brighter future. Additionally, he actively participates in various social initiatives at the local level, contributing to the well-being of his community.

Ms. Nikita Tamhankar

Ms. Nikita Tamhankar has two years of experience handling POCSO cases as a dedicated support person. She currently works closely with child sexual abuse victims, providing them with crucial social and psychological support, helping them heal and regain their strength.
