About Seva NGO
SEVA strives to connect local communities with national and international risk reduction, relief, and long-term recovery policies and programs, building resilience in line with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR).
As an action-and-learning organization, SEVA promotes disaster risk mitigation and climate change adaptation by capturing, processing, and disseminating disaster-related information, lessons learned, and innovative ideas. It also conducts stakeholder round tables,
Capacity-building training sessions, school safety programs, reviews, and pilot demonstration projects, all with citizens at the center of these efforts.
In parallel, SEVA addresses a variety of social issues, such as organizing financial literacy training in collaboration with SEBI, CDSL, and the NIIT Foundation, and tackling important areas like child sexual abuse, child trafficking, women’s empowerment, rural development, agriculture, education, health, and environmental protection.
